Self Deportation: The Alternative to Secession?

We are the United States of America, and united we should stand. In the early 1860s when eleven Southern states withdrew from the Union, the Civil War ensued. We are a Democracy, and many of the interest groups who now bark out for their "freedom" and who "want (their) Country back" are from the very states that were defeated in Civil War, and now want to secede from the union again, because they lost the 2012 Election. How un-democratic! If it turns out that America is not what they think it should be, and democratic elections don't suit their fancy, why not go back to the country of their ancestry where hopefully they won't have these problems.

Mmmm...If these states should secede, who will take care of their working poor, their elderly, those struck by misfortune, natural disasters and the like? Will these victims be forced to migrate to neighboring states? Will they have to scale walls and navigate electric fences built to keep the remaining Americans out, and will they be deemed “illegals”? A viable alternative to Secession for these disgruntled “patriots” (in this case a misnomer) might indeed be self deportation.
